Cherrie Hanson is Managing Editor for Wisconsin Muslim Journal. She is also Special Projects Manager for MWC's monthly Networking Brunch program.
She has been published in Shepherd Express, Milwaukee Independent, The Inner Voice and UW-Milwaukee's Cream City Review and authored a blog dedicated to the subject of healthy mind, beauty and spirit called Cherrie Bomb! She has a BFA in Fine Art from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a focus on Women’s Studies.
In 2025, she completed the Wisconsin Master Naturalist program becoming part of a network of volunteer instructors dedicated to conservation service, leadership and lifelong learning.
Cherrie is a writer, fine art photographer, vocalist and musician using her talents as a means to express and strengthen her faith.
